Over my last four decades as a businessman, I’ve realized that one of the most precious assets we all have is common sense. But we seldom use it.
This blog talks about consistency, hard work and mostly common sense in business and life. I learned it the hard way. I made big blunders, had substantial losses, but I always went a step ahead by using common sense.
I learned early on that with constant effort and good use of common sense, I could sustain my businesses even if oil prices fell to $8 a barrel.
This blog is straight talk about common sense, pure and simple. Find out more about me in my best -selling book “From dirt roads to black gold.” Note that 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of this book will help people in need through my foundation, the YBC Foundation.
